Specially designed for normal to combination skin prone to redness or slight irritation, the Moisturizing Protective Emulsion SPF30 from the Avène Antirougeurs line is intended to soothe, reduce, and prevent redness. This lightweight, non-greasy emulsion leaves the skin soft all day long and provides protection against UV rays, an essential factor for sensitive and reactive skin.

Properties

The formula of this emulsion stands out for a combination of carefully selected and patented active ingredients, designed to soothe sensitive skin and reinforce its resistance to redness. The key patented ingredient is TRP-Regulin™, which acts on skin reactivity by reducing its tolerance threshold and stabilizing microcirculation, directly contributing to reducing redness. Additionally, the formula integrates Pongamia glabra oil (Pongamia Oil), which helps maintain the balance of the cutaneous microbiome, reinforcing the skin barrier and contributing to a calmer and protected appearance. Another active agent is dextran sulfate, which acts as a decongestant and vasoconstrictor, soothing irritations and visibly reducing small surface redness. The presence of Avène Thermal Spring Water in the composition adds a natural soothing effect, known for its calming properties on sensitive skin. The texture of this emulsion is further enriched with broad-spectrum sunscreens (including Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol [nano], Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Titanium Dioxide) that provide cross-protection against UVA and UVB rays — essential considering that sun exposure contributes to worsening redness. Furthermore, the slightly greenish tint of the emulsion helps visually \'neutralize\' redness, immediately providing a more even complexion.
